1. Acceptance of Terms
By inviting or using RostaBot in any Discord server, you agree to these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy.
2. Service Description
RostaBot is a Discord bot for role-management workflows, including Role Tracker boards, role request approvals, contact-based role management, and role-change logging. RostaBot is developed and operated by Digital Den.
3. Eligibility and Permissions
You are responsible for ensuring you have authority to add and configure bots in your Discord server. You must configure role hierarchy and permissions correctly. If RostaBot is placed below target roles, it cannot manage those roles.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse RostaBot, attempt to disrupt service, or use it in violation of Discord Terms, Discord Community Guidelines, or applicable law. You are responsible for actions taken through your server configuration and staff permissions.
5. Data and Logs
RostaBot stores only operational data needed to function, such as server IDs, channel IDs, role IDs, user IDs, tracked-role mappings, role contact assignments, role request metadata, and role-change logs. This data is used to provide bot features, moderation/audit trails, and support troubleshooting.
6. Plans, Availability, and Changes
RostaBot is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. A Free plan is available, alongside a paid Premium plan with higher limits offered as a Discord server subscription. Features, limits, and behaviour may change over time, and we may suspend or discontinue functionality at any time.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RostaBot and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, server configuration issues, or downtime resulting from bot usage.
8. Termination
You may stop using RostaBot at any time by removing it from your server. Access may be limited or terminated for abuse, security risks, or violations of these Terms.
